About us

CA Northstate University’s mission is to advance the science and art of healthcare. The Masters of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree  complements this mission to prepare early to mid-careerists with the industry knowledge and business administration skills required to pursue potential leadership positions in healthcare management such as: health service administrators, managers, analysts, entrepreneurs, and eventually, executive  leadership.

Our MHA program cultivates entrepreneurial mindsets geared towards innovating and engineering healthcare systems of the future while corresponding to the societal need of producing ethical and responsible leaders.  Through this transformational change, leaders will deliver improved healthcare delivery systems through operational excellence.

We have designed our MHA program in accordance with the standards of the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) and embedded the five domains integral to the healthcare sector as determined by the Healthcare Leadership Alliance (HLA) ,the nation’s premier professional organization that together represent more than 140,000 members across the major healthcare management sectors, in order to produce well-rounded  leaders that will contribute ethically and responsibly to society.

Additionally, we are partnered with the American College of Healthcare Executives and their Higher Education Network (ACHE HEN). We are also an Associate Graduate Program member of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) with an Upsilon Phi Delta chapter, a national academic honor society for health administration students.
